Cecil Aldin, R. B. A. 1870 -1935, Fallowfield Hunt Breakfast At The Three Pigeons.
Famous British Artist and illustrator Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin created a series of six in the Fallowfield Hunt Scenes. He was an adventurous games man and master of foxes, dogs, horses and had such passion for painting, water colors, chalks and writing.
This stunning colorful illustration is entities “Breakfast at the Three Pigeons” from the Fallow field hunt Series; this print is signed and dated in the lower right hand corner, circa 1900.
This Print was purchase in N Berwick Maine in 1960 or 61 from the estate of Paul A Chadbourne 5th president of Williams College 1872-1881 Van Bonens in Ann Arbor Michigan has several reproductions of this series written on the back in ink and on a card, with a copy of the portrait of Paul Chadbourne.
Condition; Print looks great; color is bright, frame has some ware on the edges. See Photos
