Carl Tasha American Modernist hand wrought belt buckle, signed on front and back, and numbered 195/250. Carl Tasha, who died in 2006, is known for his sculptural pieces and jewelry. This piece combines abstract curvilinear lines with graduated beading and detailed, multi-layered flowers. Each petal on the two flowers was meticulously applied. The buckle is hand crafted from brass or bronze. It is signed on the front "C Tasha 195/250" and is signed on the back with "TASHA" in applied letters.
