From the estate of Betty Balcom ( collector of fine antiques), A very nice Period Queen Anne Country chair, Ca.1710, of mixed woods, elm, hickory, and fruit wood. The combination of carved and turned parts in this chair show a mixture of William and Mary and Queen Anne styles characteristic of rural cabinetmaking. A great piece for the Period collector.
