Circa 1820 Chinese Export Blue Canton Ewer. Beautiful Quality with Tobacco Leaves at the neck denoting early and very meticulous manufacture, This is the size that you will find in this for. Rare as it is, the smallest ewers, especially the Minature 5 1/2" ewers are Extremely Rare. This one is in Excellent Condition and Very Good Quality. Inside of the ewer at the top of the neck is a small firing mark. The Schiffer Book on Chinese Export Porcelain shows a good example of this Rare Form on Page 157.
