Burr Walnut Cocktail Bar Liquor Cabinet, Jenners, Princes St, Edinburgh

Unavailable

This is a fine cabinet, Queen Anne style, made of Burr Walnut Veneer, was purchased at the famous Jenners, Princes Street in Edinburgh, UK's leading prestigious retailer of designer brands since 1838, (Jenner's was bought out by House of Fraser in 2005.) I would judge this piece to be from 1920's., It is in wonderful condition with only a few spots on the trim surrounding the panels, which have been touched up and scarcely noticeable. BURR WALNUT is prominent throughout the piece. There are two doors at top, with working lock and key, that reveal interior lined with maple, mirrored back and one glass shelf. There are brackets on inside of door on right that holds a tray, inside door on left has 2 shelves with a pull out mixing tray in center. Two doors at bottom also have working lock and key, it is an open area with one small drawer. Combination of the burr walnut, highly carved knees and crown make for an outstanding looking piece, will make a statement for any room in the house. This beauty measures 39" w. x 21" d. x 67" h.
