Delightful Bunnykins baby bowl or cereal/oatmeal bowl.
In 1934 Barbara Vernon Bailey created the first Bunnykins design for her father, Cuthbert Bailey, managing director of Royal Doulton. Sister Mary Barbara, an Augustinian nun, continued designing until 1952. She was succeeded by Hubert Light (who designed the border and backstamp) and then Walter Hayward.
This bowl shows the Bunnykins at the railroad station. Some are qued up in line for tickets, others sort out their baggage. Some mice help. A wonderful, animated picture. Twelve rabbits circle the rim.
MEASURES: 6-3/8 inches diameter, 1-3/4 tall.
Very good used condition. No chips, cracks or repairs found, aside from light wear.
Circa 1950s
Made by Royal Doulton, in England.
