Beautiful teapot and stand, created by Bradley & Hubbard Mfg. Co. in New England. Stand is brass-plated iron, with very little sign of wear; measures 13.75"h. The teapot knob and handle, as well as the handle of the burner, are of ebony wood. Burner in the center to keep the teapot warm, shows some corrosion of the brass screen. Teapot is brass with tin lining; shows some corrosion at the solder seams and a bit on the inside lining. Two shallow linear dents in the top shoulder of the pot, which stands 7.5"h to the top of the bail handle. Triangular company mark on bottom of stand, as well as 2 patent dates of Jan. 28, 1896 and Feb.2, 1897 elsewhere on the piece. Price recently reduced. Sold as is. Email if further info is needed.
