Boys' and Girls' Bookshelf Set of Three Volumes--1912
This set includes volumes 7, 16 and 17. These three books have very good stories that tell about animals (ways and whys and friendships and photographs), wonders of the heavens (space and planets; the seven wonders of the world), foreign countries, methods of travel and famous women in history. These stories give a glimpse into how a child viewed the world back in 1912 when these books were written. It is wholesome and charming with great illustrations that help to capture a child's imagination. The books have been lovingly used and have some wear to their spines and covers (which are still intact--just getting wear). Volumes 16 and 17 have a little writing in them that is not easy to see, volume 7 is missing page 1. Despite this, the book are in generally good condition.
