Bordens I'm Going Away Ad 1946 This is a January 28, 1946 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from The Borden Company. It pictures Elsie the Cow, Elmer the Bull and little Beulah. Elsie is standing by a packed suitcase and Elmer is upset. Elsie is saying ""But darling, I'm going away because I love you."" Elmer replies, ""Don't pull that old one on me, that's the same line you pull every time you want your own way."" Elsie says. ""I'm going on a tour of Bordens plants and laboratories"" In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 8 1/4"" wide by 12"" tall.
