BIZARRE vintage jewel Egyptian SCARAB bracelet

During the aesthetic period and the art deco period creatures were known to adorn jewelry and this one is quite the example of how scarabs were used to enhance bracelets. This has a HUGE golden glass center stone with open back to show the fiery light thru. On each side are some of the largest scarabs I have seen. They are there to protect this magnificent faceted stone and its owner and to let them know that even after all these years they will keep doing their duty. THis is not a bracelet for the shy by any means, It is really wide (1 1/2") and loaded with layered of fancy metal work. This measures 5 3/4" on the metal band with an additional gap of 1". IT is really well made and as you can see it has no glue because it is soldered and bezeled. Tiny claws hold this 1 1/4" long stone into place. MOst likely it is czech because the color and quality of exceptional.
