BIZARRE Devil Satyr carved marble Pan Mythical

At a time when creatures would come alive in jewelry and objects for desks and tables, Pan or creatures resembling the devil were quite popular. Now you can hardly find many things with these pointed eared helpers of the Gods. This is a carved cup ( notice the inside has a shine like polished marble) that has a mat finish on the outside with the veins of the stone creating an very mysterious face. The cup is heavy and in great shape and has detail on all the sides. He really is quite a fearful looking creature isn't he?. This measures 4 1/2" tall and I think it is fairly old. It is not resin for sure and is some sort of carved stone or marble.
