The United States Senate sat in its Constitutional role as jury to consider the impeachment articles passed by the House of Representatives in the case of President Bill Clinton for perjury and obstruction of justice on December 19, 1998.  The color photograph shows the Senate in session with Chief Justice William Rehnquist presiding and the red undated ticket admits the bearer to one of the observer seats that overlook the US Senate.
