BIG vintage MURANO millefiori GLASS necklace
Venetian Glass bead jewelry ( sometimes referred to as trade beads, is so colorful that looks great with any outfit, and it really stands out against black. This 26" long vintage GRADUATED necklace,has rich patina filigree brass caps on the ends of each bead and is hand KNOTTED between each glass bead. These are some of the largest beads I have sold because they go up to 3/4" ( see photo next to a dime) .This lovely long Italian necklace consisting of blown Venetian glass beads with some of the more unusual beads I have ever seen. The beads are graduating in size, from 7 mm to 17 mm in diameter and they close with a wide barrel clasp. Imagine the work that went into each and every one of these magnificent miniature pieces of art! In great shape this hangs very well and is absolutely GORGEOUS!
