This is a nice clean, useable, spring loaded, special purpose pliers, marked "BERNARDS PAT. MAR 17 1914, APR 6 1915 PARAGON". They are 7" long overall with two indentations on both jaws, that sort of resembles the pad on a paper stapler, but one jaw has a slot in the middle, and a strip of spring steel attached above it that must keep tension on something while in use. I assume it is designed for button installation of some kind. In good working condition overall, not rusty or damaged.
