Baby Ruth Candy Just The Thing Ad 1929 This is a March 1929 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Curtiss Candy Company of Chicago. Ad shows young men swimming. Also shows picture of Edwin J Manley, head coach University of Illinois Swimming teams, winners of many Western Conferences water polo, water basketball and swimming championships. Coach says, Babe Ruth, just the thing for a swimmer. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4 wide by 14 tall.
