B F Goodrich Road Test Synthetic Rubber Ad 1943 This is an October 4, 1943 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from B F Goodrich.Ad pictures a a night scene of a train, policeman and his police car in a railroad yard. It reads, The New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad was the first to put Silvertowns on five police cars. These Silvertowns were made of synthetic rubber. It is titled, ""How police cars joined an 80,000,000 mile road test of synthetic rubber."" In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
