The image on this web-site is shot from two views, the work is one large picture. Created in 1976 this piece, an enormous sculpture, stood for two weeks in Sonoma and Marin counties in California. The sculpture was an 18 feet tall nylon cloth wall stretching for 25 miles. Created by the noted American conceptual artist Christo Javacheff, who was born in Gabravo, Bulgaria, on June 13, 1935, he studied at the Fine Arts Academy in Sofia from 1952-56, and then studied in Prague, Vienna and later to Paris where he created the wrapped, packaged objects that made him known. This work is in a wooden frame in great condition.
