A very fine Art Nouveau pendant comprising an exceptionally large natural freshwater pearl mounted in platinum set with diamonds. The mounting is in floral form, the leaves set with nine single-cut diamonds accented with another .15-ct old European cut diamond. The jump ring is worked in the form of a platinum clover set with three small diamonds. The pearl has fine luster with noticeable rose and green orient. This piece is a delightful example of freshwater pearl jewelry. Tested and guaranteed platinum and 14K gold. Origin: America, ca. 1910. Condition: excellent. Size: 1/2" x 1-9/16. Weight: 5.5 grams.
