Art Deco mantle clock, stepped side and manual wind movement. The wood is New Zealand rewarewa, and it is inlaid with a mosaic of squares of NZ paua shell, which has a varnish finish crackled a little with age giving its own unique pattern. Lovely glittery effect from the iridescent shell. Very deco face and hands. Hasn't been overhauled, so can't guarantee the movement, but it ticks away happily and keeps good time. Case is in excellent condition.
