Exquisite and very rare pair of Art Deco earrings in 14K white gold. The earrings feature 16mm sodalite cabochons suspended from platinum-topped palmette-shaped surmounts set with brilliant- and single-cut diamonds. Two collet-set diamonds separate the lapis pendants from the surmounts, allowing for free movement of the drops. The platinum settings are beaded for added interest. The backs of the earrings are attractively finished with a filigree white gold mounting. Tested and guaranteed platinum and 14K gold. Origin: America, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original.
