Antique Wood Handled Screwdriver 15 Inch

$22.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a good antique, hand made screwdriver with a very nice hardwood handle. It is 15.2" long overall, and has a .50" tip width. The blade was made from a old file, as was common in many shops around the turn of the century, when the file got worn, find another use for it. File stock, makes excellent screwdriver stock, particularly when combined with a very well made handle, as is the case of the screwdriver. The handle has a heavy duty brass ferrule that helps to keep it from cracking under strain, as in this case, we see no cracks in the wood, very solid, and well attached. It is in good, useable condition with no rust, or pitting very little wear, not rusty, and not bent, the handle fits snug in place. There is no maker's mark on this one. A one of a kind, hand made screwdriver!
