Antique 18th century lavishly decorated Turkish Ottoman flintlock pistol, with a two-stage tapered iron barrel, a faced breech section engraved and inlaid with gold koftgari decoration in the form of an arabesque design, and a flintlock decorated en suite with the barrel. A wooden full-stock inlaid in silver with a design as the barrel and lock. Silver mounts cast and chased in low relief, comprising a trigger-guard, a butt-cap and elaborated medallion, a side plate decorated en suite with trophies and foliage. Silver ramrod- pipes with a false iron ramrod.

CONDITION: In good condition considering its age with minor wear, showing the usage. A chip in the wooden stock near the lock.
