Excellent antique 'Scale Blue and Exotic Birds' pattern vase handpainted in Rococo style panels embellished with rich gilding. Made in the 19th Century by Samson of Paris, it is signed on the underside with an underglaze blue pseudo-Chinese seal fretted mark in the manner of the early Worcester Dr. Wall period pattern by the same name. SamsonÂ’s pieces have become collectorsÂ’ items and are commanding record prices. In good used condition with imperfections as shown. Shipped fully insured with tracking number.
