Old Native American Meti Pair of embroider hide Gauntlets decorated with floral motifs in red green and blue with the fringe on the outer edge. The leather is quite stiff and very dry. 12 inches (30cm) long. Meti is a general reference to peoples of French/Indian extraction on the central and northern plains. French traders often lived for many years with an Indian tribe and married Indian women. .
