An exceptional antique 19th century Moroccan Islamic dagger Jambiya (Koummaya). A curved tapering double-edged steel blade, a brass hilt with waisted grip, a 'peacock' pommel thickly applied with silver panel, chased and enamelled with scrollwork, and a brass scabbard with the exterior thickly covered by silver panel engraved in foliate with Niello at the throat, complete with two large suspension rings.

CONDITION: In good condition.
