What an awesome scale this is.....comes complete in an all wood box, purple felt lined....box measures 6 1/2 x 4 inches, with SCALE on the top.....inside you will find the brass pole (5 inches long) that screws into the metal area inside the box to steady the scale......there are 2-1 1/2 inch round dishes with 3 chains connecting each one to the main portion of the scale fixture....there are also 3 weights, a 1 gram and 2-2 gram weights.....very lovely piece, in GREAT condition.....very old and also includes a metal tweezersI am an antique junkie. I do a lot of traveling attending local auctions and estate sales, particulary in my home state and while I try to give as best description as possible when listing items, bear in mind I am not an expert. That what you see is how it is presented to me. I do not go out of my way to clean up the items; I leave that up to you.
