Antique medieval 12th-14th century European knight rowel spur in excavated condition with slender curved heel decorated in chiselled chevron pattern and pierced oval terminal for attaching straps, retaining the original buckle and fitted with star shaped rowel of eight points.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 12 cm (4 ¾ in).
CONDITION: excavated condition with black lacquered surface.
