This is an old metal ashtray with a glass insert.....underneath the glass here is a picture of an maiden girl....you can't see it all that good because of the use this ashtray has seen...HOWEVER, what is really cool about this piece is that you could conceivable remove that picture and place any other picture you want here......very versatile wouldn't you say...merasures 4 1/2 inches round and is 1 inch deep.....in FAIR to good conditionI am an antique junkie. I do a lot of traveling attending local auctions and estate sales, particulary in my home state and while I try to give as best description as possible when listing items, bear in mind I am not an expert. That what you see is how it is presented to me. I do not go out of my way to clean up the items; I leave that up to you.
