Antique Louis XVI Style Commode Side Cabinet Sideboard
This antique rosewood and satinwood side cabinet in the French Louis XVI style dates from circa 1900, and exhibits exceptional craftsmanship, comparable to the work of the finest French cabinet makers of the late 19th century such as Francois Linke, Emmanuel Zwiener, and Paul Sormani. It features exceptional gilt bronze mounts, geometric parquetry inlay, center door with flower basket marquetry inlay, and variegated rouge and grey marble top. It measures 53" wide, 44" tall and 22.5" deep, and has one interior shelf. There are some veneer losses noticeable along the bottom edge on left and right sides as seen in our images.
