This footed faience dresser box by LM & Cie features lovely Islamic decoration and measures 8.25 by 4.5 by 4.3 inches (21.0 by 11.4 by 11.0 cm) and weighs 1 lbs. 15 oz. (0.87 kg). Underside carries the "LM & Cie" stamped mark for Lebeuf Milliet & Cie., the Faïencerie which operated from 1841 to 1876. Overall condition is good. There is a repaired crack noticeable on the underside across one corner. This item resides with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment.
