Antique LEATHER Mitts Horse Driving Mittens

Unavailable
These large leather mitts are very old! They could possibly have been used many years ago by a pioneer while driving a horse-drawn wagon or sleigh! They measure about 13" long x 9 1/2" wide at the top. There are some places where the stitching has come loose - mostly by the thumbs, and there is a small hole worn in one thumb. They have a lining of a shearling sort of material. We're not sure just how old they are - but they have definitely been around for many years! These mitts would be a nice display item. They are in used condition.
