Antique Japanned Asian Lacquered Twig Table

This is an exceptional antique Aesthetic Movement, Japanned twig occasional or serving table. Measures 28" high and top measures 30" wide by 17" deep. Condition is excellent. Top features a black lacquered finish with red, gold and yellow floral designs. Structure is an "X" leg design with lower platform stretcher decorated in the same fashion as the top. Top has handles on the left and right sides. Origin is unknown. We believe it dates from the late 19th century at the height of the Aesthetic Movement.
