Edo period time Japanese steel plate lacquered armor with a multiplate apron. Details: the breast plate and the back plate are made from thin horizontal strips of lacquered steel, the shoulder straps are made of thick layers of cloth (felt like) covered with leather, the apron is made from small plates of metal laced with cord and then lacquered. Measurements: Height: 26 inches (66cm). Width: 13 ½ inches (34,3cm). Weight: 12 lbs. Condition: the armor is in good condition; no damage or repairs except a dark blue cord is a later replacement.
