Authentic antique outstanding Jewish Etrog container of classical oval form, Russia, circa 1900. DETAILS: solid silver decorated with hand engraved floral motifs, hinged lid with scroll handle, raised on four leaf and flowers carved legs, on the top of the lid engraved square cartouche specifically designed for custom Hebrew engravings, gilded interior, bottom and the lid fully hallmarked with Imperial Russian assay office mark 84 zolotnics, the Russian Imperial Double Head Eagle and the silversmith mark in Cyrillic MX.

DIMENSION: approx. length 14,5 cm (5 ¾ in) width 12,5 cm (4 7/8) height including handle 12,8 cm (5 in) weight: approximately 455 grams.
CONDITION: in very good condition considering its age, no repairs or restorations, only one vertical minor dent near the rim beside the hinge, as can be seen in the pictures, beautiful showing the age and usage patina.
