Antique Georgian 55 diamond Saint d 'esprit Brooch Cleave cut diamonds
Extraordinary does not begin to describe this Georgian ( 1714 to 1830 ) sterling and genuine diamond Holy Dove brooch. In my opinion it should be in a museum it is so rare and so fabulous!!! Each diamond is cleaved ( hand cut ) and there are 54 of them not counting the largest one in the center of this magnificent bird. Truly one of a kind, this solid sterling bird is highly detailed with beautiful detailing. THe photos do not do it justice. Georgian pieces are not machine made so each one is quite unique from another. This comes from my personal collection and has not been viewed by the public before. I offer layaway on this ( money order or cashiers check only) so it is affordable to own a piece that is this amazing. It measures almost 1 3/4" from wing to wing and weighs 6.5 grams. I think there is one diamond missing.
