Highly collectible antique piece of pottery from from region of Bordeaux, Southwestern France. It is a very rare and very old French walnut oil jar with its irregular lines, dating around 1780’s, made of stoneware. This piece comes from a village in the Bordeaux area. In the 1700's and 1800's, people used this piece of pottery to keep walnut oil (Many walnut trees in this region of France). We can notice a very thin crack one a side but not sure that it is one (see photo). h-8.5/ w-3.25/ d-3.25 We ship from Texas (not from France)!
