This is a handsome antique solid oak occasional arm chair. Country of Origin: HollandCirca: 1920Faux LeatherBrass NailsSolid OakH StretcherVery Strong and SturdyIt features lovely faux leather on its seat, back and arms. Its leather is held in place by attractive brass nails and although there are two minor scratches on the seat, they are very superficial and can easily be touched up at home if necessary otherwise it is in very good condition considering its age, circa 1920. This chair has comfortable padded arm rests with ball hand support. The ball on the right has a slight imperfection but it is not distracting at all and is easily overlooked. This chair is very heavy due to its solid construction of oak with thick block and vase carvings and strong H stretcher. Needless to say, it is very strong and sturdy and overall it is in excellent cosmetic and structural condition. It is an outstanding piece of furniture that should last you a lifetime!
