What an elaborate heavy brass double inkwell this is!!Not only is this ornate, but I think these are the original porcelain inserts that are signed on the back. T is also a signature on the bottom of the brass inkwell. This large inkwell measures 9" wide and almost 9" deep. It stands 6" tall. I don't see damage or nicks to the porcelain inserts and the brass is in great condition. THis would be a fabulous piece to put on an antique desk! The marks read : CE )( or EC) on the inserts. The BRass reads: M in a star and the number 5821. And now for the tedious part that you probably already know: PLease remember that vintage & antique items are not mint, nor are they perfect but they sure are full of old history and charm.All items are sold as is and as found (used and probably vintage) Since this is Irreplaceable t can be no returns on this sale..
