In the old days when only a very few people lived in the community there would be a traveling cobbler (shoemaker) who would go from place to place making and fixing shoes. They would stay with a family until they had repaired old shoes and made new ones for all in that place. Later, when more people had come into the community and a settlement had started the cobbler would build a shop and then people had to go there for their shoes to be made or repaired. One hammer measuring 8.5 inches. One stand measuring 7.75 inches. Three metal shoes measuring 7.5 inches, 8 inches, and 9 inches. Parts of various other tools are included. The Wooden Box reads "The 'Joker' Cobbler for General Boot and Shoe Repair" on the side.
