Antique Child tintype bookchain necklace ivory framed and Gothic rhinestone brooch chatelaine

Made with antique mother of pearl beads from a rosary that dates in the late 1800's, this necklace also becomes a separate chatelaine brooch. The framed child is in ivory or mother of pearl ( I see cross hatch on it so it might be ivory .. see closeup). I think it is a tintype and it is all original ( is permanently rivoted closed). Made in two layers with the front half having the fancy frame with its opening, it holds this mysterious little girl inside.This used to be an old brooch which I converted to hang from the necklace. The chain around the neck releases the long drop pendants with all the old beads and the antique cross with an old fold over catch. Once it is disconnected you slide the pin of the brooch thru the catch and it becomes a chatelaine. This can be worn as a choker,longer necklace and or as the brooch so you can get a number of looks with it. IF you happen to have an extra pendant you can attach it to the hanger on the neck chain once it is disconnected from the drops I have on it. At the end of the extender on the necklace is a fancy skeleton key that can be worn hanging in the back or from the side in the front view. You are getting all these pieces. The brooch has rich peridot color glass rhinestones with a large vintage rhinestone center. It can be worn with or without the long portrait drop. THe neck chain has these wonderful old mother of pearl beads that reflect light ( the camera picked it up in one of the shots) and old rhinestone rondells. The neck chain measures up to 20" ( not counting the extremely long drop with all the edwardian old bookchain links and old watch chain drops. The bookchain drop that holds the three drops has a faux moonstone and tiny seed pearls and is ab old piece. The pendant measures a whopping 8" long and has a late 1800's old fancy watch chain with grill work, A filigree glass and brass cone shape pendant, antique glass beads with filigree from another old rosary and an early 1900's etched cross. This has good weight and is so fabulous that you will be able to wear it many times in many ways and have all eyes on you with adoration.
