Very old Beyer's Preliminary School for the Piano-Forte,with English and German Text, to which is added Czerny's Letters to Young Ladies on the Art of Playing the Piano-Forte, published by Oliver Ditson & Co., Boston. This book contains more than 85 pages of music and text. It is in good to very good condition. The paperboard cover, binding, and pages are intact. There is a crease in the front cover, a few pencil notations inside, and 10 pages that show paper loss at the bottom edge of each page with no loss of musical notes. The remaining pages are in good condition, showing normal wear and discoloration for a book of its age. The exact age is unknown. It is believed to be from the 1870's or before.
