Antique 17th century German Nürnberg - Nuremberg pewter relief plate KAISERTELLER circa 1630 of Ferdinand II (9 July 1578 – 15 February 1637). At the centre is a medallion depicting the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II Habsburg on horseback with a legend: FERDINAND: II. DG.RO: IM: S: A: At the rim are eleven numbered oval cartouches bordered by mannerist strap work and interspersed with grotesque masks, each containing a mounted equestrian figure of the Emperor from the House of Hapsburg with his name in the legend as follow.

Condition: Some imperfections on the reverse of the rim, and an old defect with a very small hole on the centre. The plate shows usage and age patina, on the reverse are turning marks.
