Ansco Films And Cameras Paper Salvage Ad 1945 This is a May 5, 1945 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Ansco of Binghamton NY. Ad shows three young boys with a hand made car, like a soap derby car, collecting scrap paper. There is a paper shortage. Ansco makes enormous quantities of photographic paper for the armed forces, a small amount for civilian use and this depends on the paper pulp supply, which in turn depends largely on the waste paper you and other good Americans salvage and turn in. A terrific picture with nice border, suitable for framing. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4 inches wide by 13 3/4 inches tall.
