Ambrotype of a small child on a camelback sofa, circa mid 1800's. Thermoplastic case is unmarked, sometimes known as a union case, as some were made by a company of that name. Size is known as a 1/16th plate, overall measuring 1.75" x 2" closed. Has one small chip to the top edge as shown; missing velvet liner inside. Sold as is. Inglenook Antiques...Established 1989.
