AMAZING STERLING SILVER CHERUB RIDING IN SNAIL CART PULLED BY GOAT SALT DIP

Unavailable
An amazing piece of High Victorian art. A winged cherub or putti or cupid is riding a cart made from a snail shell with functional wheels and pulled by a goat. The back section opens up and a area for storing salt is visible. A sterling salt spoon that came with this piece also with a cupid is available for the buyer of this piece if desired. Hallmarked on base indistinctly appears to be a Austrian or French hallmark. Little over 4" long and almost 3" high a great piece for even the most advanced collection in the world. Circa 1880.
