Alley Oop Game. The Game of Alley Oop is a game of wooden pieces in a metal can. The can has a paper label with name, a picture of how to play and two prehistoric men with a dinosaur wondering what's going on. There are 22 pieces but I think there are 2 extra, 4 people could play the game. Label reads Manufactured by Royal Toy Company, Inc., Worcester , Mass., USA, patent applied for, 1937 Stephen Slesinger, Inc., N. Y. Also on top of label has New Label Adopted October 1937, formerly spelled ALEE OOP. Can is 4 1/2" h x 2 7/8 and the pieces range from 3 7/8"long x 3/8 to 3 1/4" x 5/8" at widest. Near mint condition.
