This is a nice used, vintage jewelry chest with storage in the hinged lift top area, plus 3 drawers also. It is nicely made with all exterior and some interior covered in faux alligator skin. The covering is a nice quality, only a few tiny rubs, some minor corner/edge wear, but looks very nice, was well cared for over the years. The box is 11" x 6" x 6". The exterior of the box frame that the covering is over is wood, about 1/4" thick, so it is plenty sturdy. The drawer backs are made of a thinker material, but the draw faces are wood also. All the hardwood is in good working order, all the drawer pulls, hinges, lid catch etc. very good, well attached. There are lots of areas for small items like earrings on the top section, and plenty of place in the drawers for necklaces, broaches and larger item like that. The chest has no maker's name on it, but we estimate it was made in the 50's or 60's era. A nice clean vintage chest with nice interior sections and clean felt covering! It is hard to find anything like it these days. Would make a nice gift also!
