A beautiful set of eight sterling silver napkin rings by Alvin. The rings are decorated with engraved bands of scrolling foliage against a stippled background. The engraving is bordered with beading and the outer edges are rolled. Each is stamped with Alvins hallmark and the pattern number S17-1. Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, no dings or monograms. Size: 1-15/16 diameter; 7/8 wide. Weight: 179.5 grams.
