36" Sevres Neoclassical Cobalt Blue Porcelain Vase

This palatial sized, veined cobalt blue porcelain vase by Sevres features neoclassical gilt bronze mounts, and measures 36.5" tall and 16" across (92.7 by 40.6 cm). It dates from the early twentieth century and was apparently purchased by Twentieth Century Fox for use as a film prop. Incised into the pedestal are the marks " 32-2-31766", "20th C-FOX" and the date "8-20-43". This item resides with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment. Additional images forwarded upon request. ( hantiques )
