3 Towle OLD NEWBURY Sterling Silver Chocolate Spoons

Unavailable
These 3 short handle chocolate spoons were made by Towle in the Old Newbury or Newbury pattern that was introduced in 1900. These spoons were used in early times when chocolate was not as refined as today and required constant stirring to keep it from settling to the bottom of the cup. Today they are used to eat mousse or rich pudding dessert or also for their original use to stir hot chocolate. They measure approximately 5 1/2" long - have an M monogram and backs have the Towle hallmark with Sterling and 925/1000.
